Support the Calvert Marine Museum in the CFC Campaign

February 4 - Fossil Club Lecture.  Dr. Stephen J. Godfrey, Curator of Paleontology at CMM will present a lecture on “Olfactory Evolution in Whales from the time they Walked the Earth”. 2:30 p.m. in the museum auditorium. FREE. He will show that although extant baleen whales retain a sense of smell little-changed from their archaic antecedents, the rest of their skull has changed dramatically in response toDr. Stephen Godfrey the evolution of lunge feeding.

February 3 -  First Free Friday Performances presents the Annapolis Bluegrass Coalition returning for their third consecutive year as our February guest performers. They are some of the hottest bluegrass pickers around and you can't beat the tight, hard driving harmonies. Performance from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium.Annapolis Bluegrass Coalition
