First Free Friday

First Free Friday takes place the first Friday of March, April, June, July, August, September and during the Christmas Walk in 2017. The museum is open and free to the public from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. There are always docents in every gallery, and frequently local performers will entertain. All performances are either free or on a donation basis, and are family friendly. Check the calendar for specific listings.

July 6: Featuring a performance by Lydia Martin and Friends starting at 6 p.m. on the PNC Waterside Pavilion stage. Bring a lawn chair and picnic to enjoy during the show!
August 3:

September 7:
Featuring a performance by Navy Commodores Jazz Ensemble starting at 6 p.m. on the PNC Waterside Pavilion stage. Bring a lawn chair and picnic to enjoy during the show!

December 7-8: Solomons Christmas Walk
The museum is open and FREE to the public from 6 - 9 p.m. Enjoy musical entertainment, Santa, Bubbles the otter, and holiday refreshments. Do your holiday shopping in the Museum Store as CMM members get 20% off during the Walk and all weekend!
From June – September, the Drum Point Lighthouse is open. Free 30 minute cruises on the Wm. B. Tennison are available.

In December, the Christmas Walk coincides with First Free Friday and the museum is open from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., both Friday and Saturday, the first full weekend in December.
