  3. Spring Break: Meet the Lighthouse Keepers

    Step back in time and meet Mr. and Mrs. Goeshy, the keepers of Drum Point Lighthouse from 1930-1931. Live character interactions with the Goeshy's at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. will highlight aspects of life at DPLH, with a special focus on women lighthouse keepers in honor of Women's History Month.

  4. Spring Break: Miocene Fossil Exploration

    March 30, 2018, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

    Spend a day exploring the amazing fossils in our collection! Throughout the day, interpreter-guided activities in the Treasures from the Cliffs exhibit will allow you to touch Miocene Epoch fossils and practice preparing a fossil specimen. Make and take home your own fossil imprint in sessions at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. Appropriate for ages 4 and up.

  5. Spring Break: Fossil Egg Hunt

    March 31, 2018, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    Back by popular demand! Look for eggs with real fossils inside, hidden throughout the museum. Participants will be given a container for egg collection; no baskets needed! Docents will identify fossil finds. Excavate fossils from matrix, using the tools of a paleontologist. For ages 3 - 10.
