Girls are lucky on first Fossil Hunt
This 2.75 inch Meg tooth was found by Cassandra Addington of Ohio on her first ever fossil trip!!! Her family were guests of CMMFC members Paul & Hillary Murdoch over Labor Day weekend 2002. It's in mint condition except for feeding damage to the tip. Congratulations Cassie!!
Here's another example of beginners luck. Jeff Sparks 6 year old daughter Jenna found this beautiful 3 inch Chubetensis tooth on the CMMFC's Spring trip to Plum Point on her first ever fossil trip. Jeff still looks to be shell shocked by his daughter's good fortune. It was "the" find of the trip. Congratulations Jenna!!!"
