Museum
Tax-deductible contributions
and grants are used to help fund museum programs, capital improvements,
and expansion. Contributions make up a significant portion of
Calvert Marine Museum funding.
We receive contributions in
the form of our Volunteer Program as well as our Membership program.
We also afford you the opportunity to be a part of the museum through a
direct tax-deductible contribution.
Personal, corporate, and
foundation tax-deductible contributions can be made directly to the museum
or via secure online transaction.

Bugeye Ball
sponsorship - Funds are designated to our Exhibits
The Bugeye Ball will be held
on Saturday, October 18, 2008. Over the past decade it has raised more
then $100,000 in vital support of special projects. This year, the focus
remains on enhancing our ability to create the exciting and informative
exhibits that are crucial to attracting and maintaining public support.
Please consider the opportunities available for Bugeye Ball support, your
personal contribution of $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, or general donor benefits the local community as well
as more than 60,000 visitors who are educated and entertained each year.
Admiral: $5,000
Twelve VIP tickets to the Ball with premium parking. Reserved seating,
premium wines served at your table and a complimentary photo. Your name
listed on our invitation and Ball’s program, along with evening and
post-event ad recognition. Two tickets to the VIP opening reception of the
Cove Point Lighthouse, once restoration is complete.
Captain: $2,500
Six VIP tickets to the
Ball with premium parking and a complimentary photo. Your name
listed on our invitation and Ball’s program, along with evening
and post-event ad recognition. Two tickets to the VIP opening
reception of the Cove Point Lighthouse, once restoration is
complete.
Commander: $1,000
Four tickets to the
Ball with complimentary photo. Your name listed on our invitation
and Ball’s program, along with evening and post-event ad
recognition.
Lieutenant: $500
Two tickets to the
Ball. Your name listed on our invitation and Ball’s program, along
with evening and post-event ad recognition.
Ensign: $250
One ticket to the
Ball. Your name listed on our invitation and Ball’s program, along
with evening and post-event ad recognition.

All funds raised for the
Bugeye Ball will be designated to the expansion of the Small Craft
Restoration Center.
Memorial
Donations - You choose where funds are allocated
Many wonderful people have
passed through the doors at the Calvert Marine Museum, and just as many
have been remembered here. The museum welcomes memorial donations and
dedicates the funds to any area of interest your loved one might have had
an interest in or even been involved with.

Brick
Campaign - Funds are designated to the Cove Point Lighthouse
Remember a loved one, special
date, or even the first time you came to Cove Point, with a personal
message engraved on a brick permanently installed on the grounds of the
historic Cove Point Lighthouse. Personalized bricks are engraved on three
lines, with up to 15 characters/spaces per line. They can be purchased for
$75 each and all proceeds benefit the preservation efforts underway at
Cove Point Lighthouse. Your donation to this project is 100 percent tax
deductible.
