This is a morning program for pre-schoolers age 3-5. Sessions meet in the Harms Gallery from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and focus on one of the museum’s three themes. The program usually includes a story and craft activity.

Time: 10 – 11 a.m. (unless otherwise noted)
Fees: $4/members $5/non-members

Birds are amazing! Their special adaptations allow them to fly, keep warm, and find food. Using household items and different foods, let's figure out how birds eat. Inspect a feather up close to understand how it keeps birds warm and dry.

Many animals can hide in plain sight from predators or curious humans by using camouflage. Through games, movement and stories, we will discover the techniques animals use to survive.
