  Solomons Maritime Festival
The GRAND RE-OPENING of the Calvert Marine Museum serves up Southern Maryland traditions with the Solomons Maritime Festival. The event includes The Antique Boat and Marine Engine Show which features exhibits from over 30 collectors of antique and classic boats, and vintage marine outboard and inboard engines. You can taste traditional foods, learn how to pick crabs and shuck oysters like the pros, enjoy local gospel and old time music, see Chesapeake Bay retriever in action, watch model boats skim the waters of the boat basin, talk with traditional crafts people as they demonstrate their skills.   RASCAL FLATTS Concert
Country music superstars Rascal Flatts will open the newly renovated PNC Waterside Pavilion on May 29th. Rascal Flatts has received the most awards in the past 10 years (40 awards), has had 14 - #1 hits, and is one of the hottest selling acts currently on tour in any genre! Tickets for the show will go on sale to members of the Calvert Marine Museum on Tuesday, March 25th and on sale to the general public Tuesday, April 1st. Gates open at 6 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m. with rising country singer Brandy Clark. Seating will be a little different than normal for this concert because Rascal Flatts uses a catwalk, which causes the first five rows to become standing Pit Tickets around the catwalk. Pit (standing section around catwalk) and Premium tickets are *$68. Reserved tickets are *$58.
