First Free Friday
During special months, First Free Friday takes place the first Friday of that month. The museum is open free to the public from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. There are always docents in every gallery, and frequently local performers will entertain. All performances are either free or on a donation basis, and are family friendly. Check the calendar for specific listings.
November 7, 2014: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Music in the Harms Gallery by Some Assembly starting at 6:30 p.m. New Estuarine Biology exhibit, River to Bay, open. Come tell us what you think!
December 5, 2014: Join us for the Solomons Christmas Walk from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
From June – September the Drum Point Lighthouse is open. Free 30 minute cruises on the Wm. B. Tennison are available May, June and September, sponsored by Dennis and Jan Biennas and M&T Bank.
In December, the Christmas Walk coincides with First Free Friday and the museum is open from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., both Friday and Saturday, the first full weekend in December.
