River Cruises on the Wm. B. Tennison

Enjoy a leisurely hour on the river with a relaxing sightseeing cruise. On your cruise, you will sail the busy Solomons inner harbor, see Solomons Island and the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory, pass underneath the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge and turn back at Pt. Patience and the Naval Recreation Center.

Departures are from the Calvert Marine Museum dock. All cruises are weather permitting. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis and tickets must be purchased the day of the cruise at the museum. Maximum capacity is 40 persons. Accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities with reasonable notice. No strollers allowed.

Hours

The one-hour cruise leaves the museum dock at 2 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, May through October. On Saturdays and Sundays in July and August there is an additional cruise at 12:30 p.m. On Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Columbus Day there will also be a 3:10 p.m. cruise. Fees

$7.00 for Adults, $4.00 for children 5-12 years.

Under 5 are free when accompanied by an adult.

Charter Cruises

Charter cruises are available May through October at $200.00 per hour, Wednesday through Sunday. Charters will be confirmed upon receipt of full charter fare. Fares are refundable in the event of inclement weather or with 48 hours notice. A $25 processing fee will be applied with less than 48 hours notice.
