 Calvert Marine Museum Virtual Tours

The Calvert Marine Museum Virtual Tours consist of interactive QuickTime(TM)  VR panoramic displays as well as Java panoramic displays.  QuickTime VR 360 panoramic images are about 480 kb.  On a dial-up connection, it may take 1 to 3 minutes to load.  The Java 360 degree panoramic displays are usually less than 100 kb.  For each tour you will be allowed to select the format you wish to display.  QuickTime requires the browser plug-in - a free download from the web.

For the Java 360 degree panoramic tours, most browsers are already Java capable.  If you see the browser hand appear (denoting a link) on the panoramic image, click that part of the picture and it will take you to another tour if available, or another part of the web site.

Click here to check if your browser has the QuickTime plug-in
