Beat the crowds and shop in Solomons for everyone on your holiday list!
Make those holiday wishes come true for family and friends this year on Saturday, November 25 at the Calvert Marine Museum Store. The store is open from 10:15 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. and has gifts to please all ages and tastes for everyone on your list. Shoppers who mention Small Business Saturday will enjoy a 20% discount on their purchases.
The Museum Store has operated successfully for over forty years and is packed full of merchandise inspired by the Chesapeake Bay. There are toys and activities for kids that are both fun and educational. These include items like puppets, model boat kits, cute clothing including t-shirts and caps, loads of books, and plenty of stocking stuffers!
For the adults, the Museum Store has a unique collection of clothing and caps, crab-etched wine glasses, hundreds of regional books, unique holiday cards, custom mugs, Black Point chocolates, art tiles and coasters, hand painted bowls, jeweled mermaid glasses, framed prints by Harry Richardson, and Carvel Hall crab knives. The elegant jewelry collection includes pieces for everyday and special occasions. Holiday crab mats and the custom chart shower curtain are also very popular items. The Store has lots of great hostess gift ideas, such as towels, beautiful soap, ornaments galore, specialty teas, Blue Crab Bay Co. gourmet snacks, and gifts with a little bit of sparkle for the ladies.

The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $9.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors, military with valid I.D. and AAA members, and $4.00 for children ages 5 - 12; children under 5 and museum members are always admitted free.
