Materials fees may apply.
The Dee of St. Mary’s is one of the last skipjacks ever built on the Chesapeake Bay. It was a fixture on the water for almost 100 years, working the oyster beds of the Chesapeake and supplying oysters to much of the country’s seafood industry. It was designated at the state boat of Maryland in 1985. The boat was donated to the Calvert Marine Museum in 2013 and serves as the base for Chesapeake Bay Field Lab (CBFL) educational programs.
