ALL THINGS “OTTER” WITH OTTERMANIA ON APRIL 11

Celebrate all things otter during OtterMania at the Calvert Marine Museum on Saturday, April 11 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The day promises to be “otterly outrageous!”

Perfect for families with pre-school and elementary age children, this day invites the kids to play like an otter, dance the “Swim” with our otter mascots, discover where otters live everywhere in the world, and learn what makes each species special. Touch otter fur and discover why swimming outside all year is great for these water weasels. Kids can make an otter mask to wear, or do an otter craft. Hear Ming Diaz tell “otterly” terrific stories and get your face painted by Ming or Piper the Clown. Museum admission applies; free for CMM members.

The Museum Store is stocked full of “otter” merchandise including wearables, toys, puppets and more. Members save 10% in the Store every day and 20% off on the 20th of every month.

The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $9.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors, military with valid I.D. and AAA members, and $4.00 for children ages 5 - 12; children under 5 and museum members are always admitted free.
